A platform for the streets

Street Fashion Week is a bi-annual production held in accordance with the global fashion calendar that seeks to propel and reinvigorate the conversation about emerging designer talent in a field commonly known as 'urban' or 'street' fashion by industry insiders and newcomers alike.

 


While what is more commonly known about 'street' fashion is limited to the latest drop from Supreme or capsule collection of Adidas or Billionaire Boys Club, 'street' fashion permeates every corner or the greater fashion world and is indeed a growing part of our culture.


Heavily associated with music and culture, 'street' fashion is embodied by and propelled through popular artists, particularly in rap and hip-hop such as A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, Pharell, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs and so many more. 


Street Fashion Week seeks to capture the essence of the culture and passion surrounding 'street' fashion, while creating a platform for emerging streetwear designers to comfortably explore their craft.
